It is a dog’s life is a popular saying for many generally meaning that it is hard and difficult. However, if you look at a happy dog you will see that they love all, protect those who are close to them and always excited when you return home if it is only 5 minutes later. A dog loves unconditionally, forgives immediately and will do what you teach it to do. A dog is a friend forever and never forgets those who are kind. I actually think that dogs can be our greatest teachers as their hearts are open to love and they are willing to share this love with one and all. Perhaps we need to look a little more closely to our 4 legged friends and learn from them.
